Last week you may have spotted Dr Greg Harris and Luke Blunden from the Sports Medicine team at Ballarat OSM supporting the Road Cycling National Championships.

Greg was the Medical Officer for the event and Luke Blunden and his team provided Sports Physiotherapy and Massage services at Saturday night’s Gran Fondo National Championships.

Greg was posted at Federation University for the time trial events on Wednesday and Thursday, the criterium in Sturt Street on Friday, and in the medical car following the underage and elite road races during the weekend.

Luke was situated in the Ballarat OSM marquee at the Start/Finish line in De Soza Park, Buninyong.

It was a pleasure taking care of elite and recreational cycling athletes in our region’s National Championship event and we look forward to taking part next year.
